FROM THE PRESIDENT - September 2009

 

Dear Members,
this is my last report before the Election. We have a band called "Bayern
Express", they will play and entertain us on the 25th of September to start of our "Oktoberfest-Dances".

We will have two bands playing and it will be a big night.

I hope that you all come and support our Club.
We need members to stand for our new Committee, please ask your self "What can I do to help? And do I have the time to do it?" If you nominate me for President again, I can stand for another year, so my Schnuck told me. Thank you.

FROM THE VICE-PRESIDENT

Dear Members,
Next month in October is our A.G.M. I would like to see as many members as possible at the meeting. Come and listen to what is going on in our Club, voice your opinion. If you have any new ideas let us hear them! We need more workers to help in areas - the bar, decorating for special events and painting in general. If you have a few hours to spare, that would help our Club a lot, it would be greatly appreciated.


For help in the bar one night a fortnight would be fantastic.
On the 25th of September we got the German Trio and the Huns playing, so plenty of music. This is followed by our "Oktoberfest-Dances" in the Club. November the 14th is our "Prinzen Ball" and then we get ready for the Christmas and the New Year celebrations.


Hope to see you all at the meeting.
